Session Timeout #
Description
By using the Session Timeout feature Users can set a idle time of 30 minutes or more. After this period of inactivity, the platform automatically logs the user out, redirecting them to the login page. Inactive sessions are terminated, ensuring enhanced security.
Purpose of the Feature
This feature ensures heightened security by automatically disconnecting users after a defined period of inactivity. It prevents unauthorized access to the platform during idle sessions and enhances overall account security.

2FA #
Description
The Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) feature in Engini allows users to implement an additional layer of security by requiring double authentication upon login. Each user configures their unique 2FA settings. At the account level, once the initial user defines this security measure as mandatory, every user within that account is obliged to configure two-factor authentication, irrespective of their individual preferences.
Purpose of the Feature
2FA serves as an added security measure, requiring a second layer of authentication during login. By mandating stricter authentication procedures at the account level, it minimizes the risk of unauthorized access and enhances overall account security.

IP Filtering #
Description
IP Filtering Allows users to limit account access to specific addresses or countries. Users must configure at least one filtering row, selecting CONNECTION/USER and specifying access allowances or restrictions.
Purpose of the Feature
This feature grants control over account access by permitting or restricting entry based on designated IP addresses or country locations. It offers tailored security settings, ensuring access is only granted to authorized entities or locations.

OPA #
Description
‘On-premises agent’ is a software component that is installed and runs on-premises server.
Purpose of the Feature
The Engini on-prem agent provides a secure way for Engini to selectively access customer-authorized on-prem apps, databases, and folders without having to open ports in the corporate firewall. In addition, this feature is designed to help you with operations such as data synchronization, writing to data tables, data retrieval, and more by connecting directly to databases.
